Les programmes sont ouverts aux diplômés et aux étudiants avancés de premier cycle de tous les horizons et intérêts de recherche liés à l’étude académique de l’islam, indépendamment de l’appartenance religieuse. La taille de la classe varie de 20 à 25 participants. Les cours ont lieu sur la place AUC Tahrir, au Caire, en Égypte.
Summer Institute for Islamic Studies
Islamic Studies in the Heart of the Muslim World
Summer@AUC Institute for Islamic Studies announces two, four-week programs. Each program includes four content courses taught by renowned faculty in the field, Arabic language instruction, special lectures and cultural visits.
Programs are open to graduate and advanced undergraduate students from all backgrounds and research interests related to the academic study of Islam, regardless of religious affiliation.Class size ranges from 20 to 25 participants and the classes are held in AUC Tahrir Square, Cairo, Egypt.
The program will not be held liable for any information collected or circulated by any other entity.
If the minimum of enrollment is not reached to offer the programs, full tuition refunds will be processed through bank transfers.
Upon acceptance, a copy of the passport will need to be provided.

General Islamic Studies
The General Islamic Studies Program consists of four courses covering key areas in Islamic Studies: Qur’an and Tafsir, Hadith, Islamic Law, and Sufism.
Each content area is covered for one week, with content presented every morning for 3 hours. Arabic lessons take place in the afternoon, with primary source texts and content-relevant readings, as appropriate to level.
